Kau Urang Sabah Ker..Ganu..?

Assalamualaikum..

Itu tajuk bukan bersifat sentiman perkauman, sila maklum. Saja mau cerita perihal si anak yang rok 'itewww' <---stail budak-budak sekolah dalam Facebook = VOMIT!

Since my daughter glib (read: lisp), lots of word going out from her 'loquacious' mouth. The unique skill innately from her mother (LIE ok). She can pronounce most of words correctly (considered of her PELATness). As time goes by, i've just been aware one thing past few days.. Apalah mama budak ini.

When she say something that have 'N' sound at the end of the word (malay words), like ikaN, kumaN, beloN, even her own name RaihaN, her pronunciation sounds like 'there is a screw loose somewhere'. Kijam kau mama. Baik, bukan screw loose nok, tapi bunyi jadi lain. 

Ikan = ikang

Kuman = kumang

Belon = Belong

Raihan = Raihang (but she prefer to call her name Ai'ha, hehe)

"So, you Ganu ker Dusun", I asked her when we take bathe together.

"umiiii...." She replied.

"wrong answer". And I asked her the same question, again.

"uuuuuuuucunG.."  (read: dusunG..)

Ha-ha-ha, memang anak dusun bah kau ini Raihan. Hmm...take your time to polish your ability my princess.
